The Ashden Awards boost outstanding climate solutions. For more than 20 years our awards have backed radical ideas delivering lower emissions and a fairer world, with grants and development support on offer to winners and finalists. Now, in a pivotal year for the future of our planet, we want to hear about your bold and brilliant work. Winners receive a prize of up to £20,000 and a package of support. This year’s award categories include greener communities, energy access, green skills, natural climate solutions, sustainable cooling and more. Some categories focus on the UK, and others cover work in low- and middle-income countries. Businesses, public bodies and charities can all apply.

Youthwise Fellowship, by OECD
If you’re passionate about how the world of work is changing, respectful of different viewpoints, open to learning from others, and able to commit to participating fully throughout the year, then we want to hear from you! Applications for Youthwise will open on 5 February and close on 5 March, and may be submitted through this site. Applicants must be: between 18 and 30 years as of 1 January 2021 and from an OECD country.

About: We are pleased to announce that the 2021 application cycle for the Roger Arliner Young (RAY) Diversity Fellowship is now open! The RAY Diversity Fellowship is a two-year (1 year with 1-year renewal), full-time position with partner conservation and clean energy organizations with the goal of increasing and facilitating environmentally-related career pathways for emerging leaders of color. British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM

About: Imperial College London is pleased to announce the British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM for the 2021/22 academic year. In partnership with the British Council, Imperial College London is offering six fully funded scholarships for female students studying on an eligible programme from one of the countries listed in the Eligibility section.
The Scholarships have been created with the aim to help address the under-representation of women in STEM. Applicants will be required to demonstrate their financial need and how they would inspire future generations of women to pursue a career in STEM. You can apply online by clicking here.
The 2021 Global Mayors Challenge

Yet, even in the face of a public health crisis, social unrest, massive budget shortfalls, and mounting climate disasters, mayors are innovating and taking bold steps to tackle their cities’ most pressing challenges. After uncovering the 50 most innovative urban solutions in the wake of COVID-19, the Challenge will award 15 grand prize winners $1 million each—to help cities implement their breakthrough ideas and, ultimately, to spread those ideas to other cities on a global scale. About: The #SumItUp competition invites you to use your authentic voice to present a one minute video reflection or unleash your creativity to present a unique visual infographic of what happened in one of the #Youth4ClimateLive Series episodes. One winner will be selected to win a trip (including travel and accommodation) to Milan to present their creative sum-up in person at Youth4Climate: Driving Ambition in Milan from September 28 to 30, 2021. About: Techstars Sustainability Accelerator in partnership with The Nature Conservancy is accepting applications through May 12th for the next class of ten world-changing startups. They're looking for startups protecting land and water, providing sustainable food and water, and enabling nature-based solutions to climate change. If you know of anyone that fits that description encourages them to fill out an application. Selected startups will receive up to $120K in funding, participation in the 3-month intensive accelerator, and ongoing mentorship from the networks at Techstars and The Nature Conservancy.
